1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OwnMynd AI, developed by Plan B Engineers, a division of AutoNexTech Pty Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use OwnMynd. If under 16, you must have parental or guardian consent.
2. Description of Service
OwnMynd is an AI-powered personal memory assistant for saving, organising, searching, and retrieving information from your personal content. The Service includes local content storage, on-device AI processing, cloud AI-enhanced features (optional, configurable), and a Share Extension for saving content from other apps.
3. User Accounts
To access OwnMynd, create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must maintain the confidentiality of your credentials.

All billing is handled exclusively through Apple's App Store. OwnMynd does not collect or store payment information. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage subscriptions via iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refund requests must be directed to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. User Content
You retain full ownership of all content you save in OwnMynd. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for your content and warrant it does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable laws.
6. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated answers and summaries are for informational purposes only. They may not always be accurate or complete. OwnMynd provides source attribution so you can verify information. AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice of any kind.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, to upload malicious code, to attempt unauthorised access, to use automated scripts without consent, to reverse-engineer AI models, or to circumvent usage limits. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Service, including software, designs, logos, and documentation, are owned by AutoNexTech Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.
9. Subscription Lapse
If your Pro subscription expires, your account reverts to the Free tier. All existing saved content is preserved on your device. You may not add memories beyond the Free tier limit until resubscribing. Your locally stored content is never deleted due to subscription changes.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all data and cannot be undone. Note: deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription — do that separately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, security risks, fraudulent activity, or as required by law. After termination, server-side data is retained for 30 days for potential data export requests, then permanently deleted.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AUTONEXTECH PTY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded by agreement.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified within the app with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
